During our fourth week, on Wednesday July 3rd, we pre-celebrated
the fourth of July. We played with water balloons, translated the national
anthem into Spanish and acted it out and we played the worm game.
We got to enjoy some
hot dogs, burgers, French fries, chicken nuggets and chicken wings. The last
part of our meal was a piece of cake.
On Thursday we traveled to Santiago de Compostela and
visited the Cathedral, the Plaza de los Caballos (Horses Square), the Museo do Pobo Galego (museum of the Galician
People) and we had some time to sing and dance in a karaoke. Some of them dared
to eat octopus (of course, they didn’t find out until later).
